| everytime i put my password in error 3 keeps coming up. everythings spelled correctly. i even changed my password and deleted and re installed the game. why am i still getting error 3? is my account hacked maybe? | ||

| Jester22, I can see the account password was changed a couple of times in the last week but there's no sign of it being used by anyone else. Make sure you're typing the email address (Battle.net account) correctly with no spaces at the end. If it still isn't letting you in, could you post your D3Debug.txt file? | Jester22, It will be in your Diablo III folder. Every time the game launches, it writes out this file. To find the folder, right click on the desktop icon you use to start the game and select "Open file location". That will place you in the game folder. | Jester22, I issued the account a reset so if you could, try it again and see if that helped. If not, it could be that your password change made a few hours ago hasn't propagated to the Authentication servers yet. You might try the old password to see if still works. You might also try logging into another region like Europe. On the main login screen, before logging in, select Options > Account > and then change the region selected under Server Region Selection. Once it's set, continue logging in and see if gets past the error 3. As for the website, I'm not sure. | Jester22, It worked fine when I tried it so it's nothing to do with the account. | Jester22, You should be able to find an Agent folder here if you use Windows XP. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Battle.net\Agent Once you've confirmed it's there, delete the Agent folder and try the game again.
