| I'm having problems launching the game after upgrading to Windows 8. After clicking play on the launcher it crashes right away with the following displayed in the error log This application has encountered a critical error: ERROR #1 (0x13370001) Fatal Exception Program: C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Client\Blizzard Launcher.1995\Blizzard Launcher.exe The instruction at "0x017FFD20" referenced memory at "0x8D580000". The memory could not be written. I also have the same problem with Starcraft 2, these are the only games that have been having problems. I've tried reinstalling the the Blizzard Launcher and upgraded my video drivers etc. Can anyone help me please? | ||

| Renegade This issue can sometimes occur due to corrupted Battle.net tools files. Lets try deleting those files, so that they can be redownloaded. | Renegade Was the new account that was created after upgrading to Windows 8 and admin account? It sounds like it might not have been, that's why running the game from the old admin account helped.
