| i start by posting the messege i received: "A user of the above account has recently been involved in actions deemed inappropriate for Diablo III. Account Action: 6 Hour Suspension of Chat Privileges Offense: Spamming This category includes: * Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish. * Saying the same phrase more than once in a period of 30 seconds. Based on a review of the information presented, this Diablo III account has had its chat privileges suspended. While the account has been placed under review, you will be unable to speak to other players using any chat systems in Diablo III. Should spamming behaviour continue we may proceed to apply further penalties including extended suspension of chat privileges, account suspension, or account closure. Once an account has been closed, any heroes, items, or auctions will be irretrievable." First of all , i wouldnt go as far as posting here but the support doesnt really support on anything closely linked to this issue and doesnt seem to allow me to post a ticket for this, so i end up here :( Second of all, i would like to say that i do post in channel for trading things but i dont spam, that means: - i hardly post twice the same thing within 10 minutes time in a channel - i dont post the same thing top on top at different chanels (meaning i dont post at general and then turn to trade and post again the same thing) - if my posts are close together its at different chats , meaning i logged out, logged back in and then posted my goods for sale again. All the above mean that i dont spam any channel and dont tire anyone really with my posts. My posting once and waiting for whispers cant be considered spam can it? I would like an explanation on this from someone from blizzard cause i really dont see what went wrong and what i did wrong, and if something did go wrong i would like to know what it was and fix it. Thanks guys | ||

| @ Phoenix, I'm a bit stumped here as to how you received that message as I do not see any indication on the account that action was taken. We do have an automated system that will effectively 'squelch' an account if spam is detected - however, there's no notation on your posting account that this was applied. If you have a secondary account that received the information, please submit the inquiry to us through that one. As has been stated here previously by others, we ask that you use that support portal to have us address any specific account concerns as that's where we can be of the most service to you. I'll be locking the thread in the meantime so as to discourage posting about account actions here in the forums - thank you for your understanding! P.S. If you ever receive a message from Blizzard that seems to be in error, please make sure you reach out to us through that portal instead of clicking on any links in the email. In times past there have been reports that phishers will use actual Blizzard templates, but will substitute different links in the message. | ||
