| I am pretty certain that this is an ISP issue. I have dealt with ISP support on similar issues in the past and they usually give me cold shoulder. So I am only resort to that as a last ditch effort. My ISP is AT&T U-verse package (TV, phone, internet in one). I can have 25 LFR player in one instance on a world of warcraft client and it generally doesn't lag at all. When I am playing diablo 3 by myself with a companion doing an inferno farm run. I can easily have lot of freeze moments when the client doesn't receive anything from blizzard server to update or acknowledge abilities usage/monster movement etc... They can be anything from half a second when lot of stuff are flying around to freeze for a full minute on a 4-5 plain white zombie (on-screen wise) in act 1. So any help would be appreciate in trying to troubleshoot this issue. | ||

| Plaguebone, Try booting in selective startup once and playing like that for a little while and see if it happens again. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Plaguebone, Try to disable Avast while playing for a session. If it's doing any scanning at all for whatever reason while you're playing, it could have an impact on your gaming performance. Other than the freezing at the blacksmith, was the gameplay normal while fighting monsters? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Plaguebone, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Plaguebone, LimitForegroundFPS "1" LimitBackgroundFPS "1" Change to LimitForegroundFPS "0" LimitBackgroundFPS "0" Or just uncheck the features in-game. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Plaguebone, I'd take out the fps limiters in an attempt to further smooth out the game play, though you may never be able to fully eliminate the micro-stutters you see. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
