| This is my first time posting, so be nice..... While I understand that HC characters are un-reviablable I ask you to consider this: I just had two NORMAL LEVEL (HC) characters (Monk and Barbarian) die (within 5 min of each other) due to a disconnect. While I suspected it may be my internet connection, when my second character died, there was only one monster around me, and i ended up dying (in approx 12 sec), I think this is due to faulty programming, and not due to the circumstances (I've had other HC characters die in the past). I'm outraged and saddened by this. Diablo 3 has been performing at a subpar level, even with Jay Wilson's replacement - I never had this problem in Diablo II. And while I have no problem with HC deaths (as demonstrated through my previous HC deaths), I believe that your programming is faulty and that HC should be REMOVED FOR FUTURE CONSUMERS. It is not only too unpredictable, but also unrealistic; especially if you look at my characters that died on the morning of July 25, 2013. Again, I only make this statement, that many will call futile, because I care. While I believe the Diablo 3 team cares the most of any Diablo (I, II, III) team (they are the largest), you can bet my bottom dollar that any review or money from me to you will matter on how you respond to my story. This is extremely sad. I played HC because I was bored of SC (there was no variance, the best builds were the best builds). The D3 teams failed in giving us ultimate replayabilty. And THEY FAILED. THEY SHOULD ADMIT IT. | ||

| Hi RedKamikazee, I just wanted to drop into the thread and thank you for taking the time to write this. Hardcore, regardless of its possible frustrations, is something that is enjoyed by many members of our community. While we definitely want to encourage people to share their thoughts with us about what changes they’d like to see in the game, realistically, removing an entire playstyle is unlikely. If you’d like to see some changes made to it, please feel free to post any constructive feedback you may have. With that said, we understand that losing a HC character to a technical issue is not fun. As someone whose area is primarily on CS related matters, it may be beneficial to focus on what tech resolutions we may be able to find. I would like to extend the offer to try and help troubleshoot any technical issues you are experiencing. It is the hope that these types of things will happen rarely, and that you may be better protected against them in the future. Should you choose to contact our support directly for technical and connection troubles please use our support portal and be clear about how the issue was encountered. In many cases, providing the diagnostic information and/or the trace route can help us see what’s going on and have a better idea of how we can help you improve the performance of the game.
