| so i try to log in just now and my account is locked. says because of an attempted log in from a different site or some such thing. i have a keyfob Authenticator set to every log in so they were not actualy able to log into my account, but my question is this.. why have a option for SMS protection on my account if it never goes off when someone tries to access my account from another location? would it not be wise to have an alert go off so i know someone might be trying to hack my account, and not just locking me out. like maybe have it send a automatic code to my phone if at another location other then my normal log in. i do understand it helped me unlock my account but it would have been nice to know someone was trying to hack it WHILE it was goin down.. not any number of hours/days till i tried to log in again to find out i was hacked... | ||

| Hi Budz, SMS protect notifications will be sent out in case of a BNet secure lock (so long as the alerts are enabled). To check that, go ahead and click 'Account' at the top of your BNet screen (while you're logged in) and choose the 'Manage Security Options' for the SMS protect. You should see that you have a green checkmark by the alerts if they are enabled. If not, change that setting (click Save) and you should be good from there. If you have any other specific questions about the account that you'd like our assistance with, you're welcome to contact us through our Support Portal. | ||

| I do, yes. And that's odd that it did not send out the notification if the alerts were enabled. I would ask you to still send in a ticket reporting the issue through the portal so that can make sure this gets looked at in more detail. Thanks, Budz! | ||
