| I'm not sure if this is ticket worthy, but here's the problem in ticket format. Hi. The topic is not clear-cut, because I'm not experiencing high latency, lag or disconnections, but a weird phenomena that seems to involve all three - and uniquely to this specific computer. (NOTE: Disregard the image, as it is unclear as to what the issue is with the image.) Firstly, let me explain my network setup. I have two PC's, and two Laptops connecting to the internet wirelessly and one PC directly using Ethernet. I have tested Diablo III on all five computers and all work fine, except the PC I am sending the ticket from. This one acts a bit strange. An example of the issue: Two of my friends would visit and we would play Diablo III, all wirelessly connected and all three using the same high-end D-Link USB receiver, with them using the two previously mentioned laptops. The issue: All of us would play with a green latency bar (99% of the time), no serious lag or disconnections for long periods of time (months), except my PC starts acting strangely. I would for periods of time (Typically from 10 seconds to 2 minutes) seem to be disconnected/desynced from the game, where upon my latency bar remains green and I am not disconnected. During these times, I cannot interact with the world (Or at least nothing happens on my screen), but everything I do seems to happen on my friends' laptops. This issue happens constantly, in- and outside of throttle times/heavy usage times. I have a stable network and internet connection, and can not understand why this happens. I have tested this at midnight (Typically when the internet is the most stable) with all other appliances turned-off (Including consoles, phones using the network etc.) and checking my bandwidth usage to see if any traffic is occurring other than my current instance of Diablo III I am convinced it is this specific computer and that something is interfering. I have tried out all the technical help FAQs on battle.net to no avail. QoS did help a bit on the other computers, but not this one. A bit more clarity: *The PC with the issue is connected wirelessly, and not through Ethernet. The other PCs which are connected wirelessly and through Ethernet, respectively, do not have this issue, and neither do the laptops. *I do not receive disconnect errors, or errors of any kind, during the periods through which this issue occurs. It simply runs its course until I can see on my screen that my actions are happening. During these periods, my friends which are situated next to me with laptops (with the same D-link wireless receivers) can see my actions in Diablo III, but I can't. I can thus still play the game during these periods, but I have to look at the Laptops screen and not the PC's screen, which is not exactly ideal :). | ||

| pusimusidu, Are you able to use a wired connection instead of wireless on the suspect PC? (I'm not a big fan of USB wireless connections.) That would be the easiest way to narrow down the problem. If that's not feasible, can you relocate the PC so as to avoid any obstructions between it and the router? Of course, you'd also want to verify the PC has the latest or the same drivers as the other PCs as well as having the same driver properties enabled or disabled (checksum options should be disabled). _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
