Hey, I purchased Diablo 3 right when it came out and all my friends quit a few months after the game came out, they have all recently started playing again so I tried to log onto my account today for the first time since I quit and for some reason its telling me that I have a trial account, I have multiple dead lv 60s in the Hall of Fallen Heroes so I know I'm not crazy and have actually played this game before, has anyone experienced something like this?

Nick,

You never really actually purchased Diablo III. You used the World of Warcraft Annual Pass program to get a free copy but it required you to pay for World of Warcraft for a full year in order to keep it among other benefits. You let those payments lapse back in 2012 so the Diablo III game account was reverted to a Starter Edition at that time.

You'll need to speak to a Billing representative and get the billing issue straightened out first and then see if they're able to re-enable the original account for you.

This article will lead you through the process.
