| A friend, the person I play with most, received an email last night saying she has been banned for botting and her account deleted. Here are the facts: - She plays 4-6 hours, weekends only - Plays 99% from a single location - Never has touched GAH - Has played since release and has never had more than 25m gold - This is the first video game she's ever played for more than 10 hours Not really the botting MO. She barely knows what bots are. How is it possible they can ban a clean player that has the details above, instead of locking the presumably hacked account and having her get in touch? What are the chances when she calls today it can be rolled back? This is absolutely ridiculous that this happens and I still receive gold spam on a daily basis. If for some reason her account is truly deleted they've lost two players. | ||

| Hi Elysium, I see that you mentioned your friend did submit a ticket, which is good to know. That being said, the fact that they were able to access the account leads me to believe this was probably a phishing message. More information about detecting those kinds of scams can be found, here.
