| Just came back about a week ago from not playing in about a year and I've noticed that anytime I'm playing with a monk, my game starts lagging in a way as such that the game becomes unplayable for me. This isn't like a framerate issue, seems like the game will often freeze everything on the screen, but then everything snaps back into places and I will warp around the map, often into hordes of enemies that I don't know are there so I just die randomly. I think it's called rubberbanding but it's very extreme, happening for 5 to 10 seconds at a time even. I've tried some different drivers but the issue is the same, I cannot play if there is a monk in the game. There is a problem with the game I think. Anyone know if there's anything I can do on my end to fix it? Intel i7-2600k 3.4GHz Nvidia GTX 560 8GB ram | ||

| zma1013, You shouldn't be seeing massive rubber banding issues with a Monk just playing against small groups or a boss. In the post Morogoth has linked, I was commenting on playing in the middle of a VERY large group of monsters such as became possible when the new density changes went into effect recently. I only see a level 9 Monk on your account so I doubt you're encountering the large #s of monsters I was referring to. Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file?
