| Hi;-) Something new for me....D3 won't start The checking for updates dialogue opens and hangs oprn My process checker shows the D3 launcher is running and is using a very small % of my CPU capacity. If I close it manually by clicking the red x upper corner the checking for updates window closes but continues to run and prevents me from trying to start D3 again because the D3 launcher is still running. If I force terminate it I get the same problem...D3 launcher hangs on checking for updates ANyone else experiencing this?? I can't reinstall it because it checks for updates and hangs | ||

| hawkeye, Could you open up your Internet Explorer browser and click on the File tab on the top, then check to see if it's set to Work Offline? | hawkeye, If your IE isn't working, it's going to be related to the problem. Our Launcher uses your computer's internet settings which can usually be accessed easily by just opening IE, but you can also do it other ways. Try opening your Windows Media Player for example. You can do the same thing there. Open it, click the File tab, and see if it's set to work offline. On a side note, I don't know what "tuneup" program you have but be cautious.
