| Hey Guys :-D I have a new computer but i'm a noob -> at the game It will take me 5-7 days to build it (parts assembly) but it was wondering if i should be doing something specific I am also not sure how much time is needed for WoW installation ( specific drivers , if needed) Cheers :-D | ||

| Falconx, There's really nothing special you need to do when it comes to our games. Just make sure your components meet or exceed the minimum requirements. Obviously the faster your computer is (generally), the better it's going to perform. Take your time building it and make sure you do it correctly. Use one of the many online guides if you're a novice. Pay particular attention to applying the thermal grease on the cpu if the heatsink you use doesn't come with it pre-applied. Too much or too little will come back to bite you later. Don't overclock anything at first if you've got that in mind. Save that for later once you know the system is completely stable. When installing the operating system, get the motherboard chipset drivers installed first, then the various device drivers for your hardware. The manufacturer sites are best for that, don't rely on the media that comes with them as usually they won't have the latest updates. Run Windows Update until it no longer has any more recommendations, it may take a couple of passes. Be sure to get the latest Service Pack if you use Windows 7 which is SP1. Use the digital download versions on your Battle.net Account Management page to install the games. That's a lot faster actually then using the DVDs you may have.
