| Only when i play diablo 3 this happens, rift and batlefield 2 is fine.Anytime when playing diablo 3 after 5 mins or a hour of playing the screen goes all brown and i cant see nothing going on it the game but the game is still running, i can hear my character walking around and his warcry if i hit my 4 key. Is this at blizard's end or at my end and what can i do to fix it? Its a pain to play HC like this knowing i might crash and the game still goes on and my guy dies without anything i can do :( | ||

| Twosaints, To check the temperature of the video card, download and run HWMonitor from: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.22-setup.exe Now start the game and let it run several minutes. Then exit or alt-tab out and see what the highest temperature is that was reached for the gpu. Generally, if it's running above 80C, it might be worth trying to cool it down some. There are exceptions of course but like I said, generally they won't run that high. If your temps are well below that, please post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Twosaints, Ok, nothing really stands out as anything that could cause this symptom that I can see. You've got 8 gigs of ram but are only using the 32 bit version of Windows 7, but that shouldn't cause a hardware problem like you're having. What I'd try first is using the monitor's DVI connection instead of DVI. Ideally, you'd use a DVI-DVI cable and not use HDMI on the video card either. When the problem occurs, how do you recover from it? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
