| Wasn't sure where else to post this... Anyway... I'm trying to install and play Diablo II on my laptop, when I run Diablo II the game runs extremely slow! Is there any solution to this? I've tried running the D2DidTst.exe and nothing shows up, my computer will start loading, but no program is shown. I searched all around the internet for it and I still can't seem to find it anywhere. I did come across something stating that Windows 8 doesn't support this game any more, is this true? And if it is true, is there something I can do to have it accept the game? COMPUTER SPECS: OS: Windows 8 x64-bit RAM: 4gb Processor: AMD E1-1200 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 1.40 GHz It's just my laptop for school, and I would like to play Diablo III on my spare time. Please help! | ||

| Thisislegit, Try running the game in windowed mode to see if it helps. Also, since you say it plays, but plays slow, can you describe what you mean by that? To play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction in windowed mode: Right click on the Diablo II: Lord of Destruction shortcut and choose properties. In the target box after the last quotation, press the space bar once and type in -w Your target line should look something like "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w When you start the game, the game should now be in a window. If you don't want it any more, you will have to exit out of the game and delete the -w from the shortcut. Make sure that you have a space between the .exe" and the -w. FYI - The legacy forum you should have used is located here: http://forums.battle.net/board.html?forumId=12014&sid=3000 _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
