| I have to say, the main reason I havent played this game until now is the cold response it got at its release.. Being a former fan of Diablo 2 I guess I was was scared of being dissapointed... But about a week ago I finally installed the D3 Starter Edition and had my first go.. Day before christmas I was already so conviced about the quality of this game that i went to the store and bought a new GFX-card and a copy of Diablo 3.. And all I can say is om*g, wow! The music, the gameplay, the graphics, tyriael sacrifice, the sometimes totally op and awesome attacks, enemies blowing up across the screen, the constant surprises when re-entering an area thanks to the randomization of the terrain and events, the auction house (I guess its valid to remove it, but i still love getting that "... sold!"-message in console and browsing for items, maybe blizz could just limit the ammount of trades per week or something for the future?) Also the suspense, the horror, the gore, actually getting scared, opening your game to public just to have some company before you go into the next dungeon because I dont have the guts to go alone haha.. Already so many epic moments.. It was a loooong time a game had this effect on me.. Basically this experience brought my faith back into games still being able to get me addicted to them.. Best christmas spent alone at my computer in many years lol! Also the community has been REALLY helpful all the time.. Being a moderate Starcraft 2 player I can say it is pretty nice playing with other people without someone constantly bringing up your mothers sexual preferences or talking about how big of an idiot everyone in the game is.. Guess the co-op aspect is enough to stay focused? =) Looking forward to exploring and continuing with Act 2, making new friends etc.. Thanks blizzard for making this and staying true to (what i think is) "Diablo".. And to all the haters out there... lol I kinda wish I hadnt listened to you.. | ||

The so called haters, are not even haters per say, they care very much about the game they're playing. And their expectations obviously have not been met. I think this is important to remember. The whole "fanbois" vs "haters" debate really degrades the quality of the discussion and no useful feedback come from it. Just because someone is unhappy about important elements of a game, or unhappy with how elements of a game are going to change, they can still care about the game and feel the need to voice their opinion in the hope that the developer will take notice. Very true. Those who are unhappy about the game, or certain parts of the game, are encourage to voice their opinions... opinions that are voiced objectively and constructively often result in extremely valuable feedback, and such feedback is always noticed! Whether or not you like the game, or parts of the game, you are always encouraged to voice your opinions and let us know why your opinions are the way they are. That said, please keep in mind that spending your time posting feedback and explaining your opinions is way more beneficial than spending your time labelling those of different opinions as "haters" or "fanbois"! | ||
