Update: It appears that Issue #2 may be resolved!

Please try restarting your Battle.net desktop app, navigating to the Diablo III page using the left-hand side menu, and then clicking on the drop-down selector above the Play/Install button. You should now see an option that says "Beta: Reaper of Souls" or "PTR: Diablo III." Click on whichever option is available; the PTR data should immediately begin downloading.

We are aware of and currently investigating two issues where players are having trouble accessing the 2.0.1 PTR.

Please:
  • Issue #1: After creating a PTR account in your Battle.net Account settings, the download link for the PTR displays a page indicating there is no download available.
    • Workaround: In order to access the PTR, you'll need to download the Battle.net desktop app. While a link may not be available on the download page, you can still download the Battle.net desktop app directly from this page after you've created a PTR account. (Note: If you've participated in any previous Diablo III PTR, the "Create PTR account" button may not appear. This is because you've already created a PTR account.)

  • Issue #2: When logging into the Battle.net desktop application, the "Beta: Reaper of Souls" option in the drop-down menu above the "Play" button is not available.
    • Workaround: None available at this time.

We don't currently have additional details or an ETA for when these issues will be resolved, but they remain a priority for our teams and we will update this thread as more information becomes available.
