I decided to reinstall after a couple of patches and see how the game is. Unfortunately it says that my graphics card doesn't support Diablo 3. I'm downloading it on the same computer I used to play on... Anyone know the fix to this?

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

I'm afraid the "Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family" isn't a supported video device in Diablo III. When it comes to integrated Intel video, only the HD series is supported as shown in this support article.

There are unsupported methods of tricking the game into letting your Intel device install/play the game but performance will be quite poor and like I said, the method used is unsupported. I can't really recommend you use them.

Here's an example thread on this subject: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/5151265737

Daegurth,

Unsupported cards are still as unsupported as they've always been. Most likely, any methods used to bypass the game detecting them may have reverted, as would happen if the D3Prefs.txt file were recreated from scratch, erasing any manual changes made to it.

Daegurth,

As I said, it's possible by employing certain unsupported methods to still install and play the game, but performance will be limited and support unavailable for any problems that may arise.

What video card are you using? If you aren't sure, post your dxdiag info as I asked above.

Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.

Daegurth,

Your issue is a little different, you simply don't have any video drivers installed right now so Windows is providing a default vga driver which won't run the game.

Your computer uses an Intel(R) G33 chipset GMA3100 video display device, also unsupported for use in Diablo III, but like I said above, it will probably be able to still be used.

Try installing these video drivers from Intel: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18775&lang=eng&wapkw=intel%28r%29+g33+chipset+gma3100+video

They're in .zip format so you'll need to extract them into an exe file so they can be run afterwards.

Daegurth ,

The drivers I linked are for an Intel integrated GMA 3100 device, not ATI. I don't see any evidence of an ATI device being in your computer.
