Beta keys given out to active d3 gamers. yeah right.(1)Category: GeneralNovember-30-2013 10:08 AM PST (9 years ago) Go to Blizzard forum post
yeah right.

Last night I saw a stream with a dude "XXXXX" on twitch that had no clue how to play the game
and his stream channel was not even high end. Al'most No views etc - You get my point?

And then you have god solid fan sites that still have not gottan a few keys, so they can
review, the beta and make some content for there users.

Why is this Blizzard? have you given out keys to the wrong people? Then they sold it to
third party low key streamers or is it just me who is totally wrong?

Don't get me wrong; not fishing for a key or anything. And I am not angry and so on.

Just dont understand that we have streamers who have access to the beta that doesn't even know how the game works? and then we have fansites that have been with us/you from the start that still dont have access to the beta.

Just had to get it out of my system, and I would love a reply? :)

Kind Regards

I think that at least half of 3000 keys which were given to random people...

Nope, it wasn't random at all. Those 3000 invites were all sent to our most active players who have opted in for beta testing.

Also, what people sometimes seem to forget in these discussions is that this particular beta phase is a "Friends and Family Beta", meaning that many of the people playing in the beta right now, who might not be amongst the top players in Diablo III, are friends or family members of Blizzard employees—the 3000 invites that were sent out to our most active Diablo III players were sent out in addition to those invites that were given to our friends and families.
