| I downloaded and installed new patch but every time I go to login it says the same thing over and over. "A new patch for diablo iii is available. the game will now close and apply the patch automatically. you will be able to continue playing after the patch has been applied" I have applied the patch and so I thought it was a glitch on my end so I did the repair utility from the launcher and sure enough it still doesn't work. What is going on? | ||

| For those of you who are still having the login issues, can you reply back with a report as to whether you can log into any of the regions at all? If you are able to get to the main login page, press Options > Account > Global Play - try changing the region around and see if one of those lets you in after you apply the change. If it does, please let me know what you had it selected to and what you changed it to. | ||

| EU doesn't patch until 8p PDT which is in a couple of hours. Thanks for your patience everyone, we sincerely appreciate it! For everyone else who cannot log into any region, or is having difficulties getting the patch installed (or if there's a general issue with the launcher) - please try: - Deleting the Battle.net tools folder - Going through the Agent troubleshooting steps. If the issues persist after going through these, you can either choose to wait until Maintenance for all the regions has concluded to see if that did the trick, or you might want to consider uninstalling and then reinstalling for the appropriate region where you by default play the most. | ||

| @ Lodango - If you have the enUS game client, then you should be able to log in since the US is patched. If you can't then something else is going on. I've posted a couple links above which may help you out. If those don't do the trick, you might also just want to redownload the patch again by going into your Diablo folder, deleting the updates folder, right click the launcher, run as administrator - once the update finishes, run the repair utility by clicking 'help' at the top in that launcher window - then run repair. Posted by: Lodango If you have a game client for a region that has not yet patched, like Europe for example - then you can log into you Europe. If you have the US game client, you would have to patch in order to play the game, but you'd only be able to access US so far.Thing is, my client never patched and i can still login and play the game? lol If you can get to the log in screen - check the version number in the lower left. If you're still having any issues with getting into any of the regions, please post what that version number is. | ||

I had this going on but no longer. This is what I did. Changed to Europe servers, logged into one of my characters and actually went into the game. Quit that game, then switched back over to The Americas region. Exited game. Reopened installer and played. Now my game is up to date and I'm playing again. I do not recall it downloading anything though when I went back into the game, but I noticed the number had changed. So must just be a super fast patch to download and doesn't even show.
