With the new monster density increase and incentive to co-op in the form of multiplicative bonuses, some interesting new synergies are developing. I'm currently farming as a Cyclone Strike Monk with friends in Act 1 [Festering Woods > Weeping Hollow > Fields of Misery] on MP8.

1.WW Sprint Barb agros nearby mobs herding them together>
2.I use Cyclone Strike to condense the mobs into tight clumps>
3.Permafreeze Wiz immobilizes while negating most Elite procs>
4.WD casts Big Bad Voodoo with Slam Dance over the mob>
5.Everyone goes to town with their heaviest AoE attacks.


We've been able to complete these runs in 20-30 minutes averaging about 150mil exp/hour. We ignore all dungeons except Warrior's rest and Cota. I get on average 2-5 legendaries per run (the most was 7!).

I'm interested to hear from the community about other new and interesting synergies in 1.08. This patch has been an incredibly huge step in the right direction, now all we need is 1.09 to bring itemization up to par. Huge commendation to the dev team for the amazing patch and also to the CM's for their hard work in this trying period! 5 days till the birthday cake comes out!

I find myself playing a lot more Public Games recently, and it's easy to notice how the group synergy changes from game to game. I try to adjust my build to make things as smooth as possible for the group, but it's tough to know what random other players need help with. There are a lot of interesting and good points in this thread, and it makes me want to learn more about classes I'm not as familiar with.
