| As many of you are aware, there are Internet issues occurring in the United States today, with the bulk of the affected players being Cox Cable customers. Our networking team has been in contact with regional ISPs and is busy working to identify the source of the issue. | UPDATE! Our networking team thinks they've identified the issue, as there is some very odd routing occurring between player's systems and our servers. We're now attempting to contact the affected ISP to discuss the issue with them. Sometimes this goes smoothly, sometimes it doesn't. | I'm glad to hear that we may be out of the woods on this one. The Internet doesn't always work well...in the woods. >.> Bad jokes aside, if you're a Cox customer and still have issues definitely let us know. Cox was telling people via live chat that it was an issue with one of their servers. If you find out what actually happened and can share, I would be really curious! Since Cox said it was one of their servers, and we know that people were getting routed in a funky manner, I'd presume the afflicted server was the one doing the funky routing. Either that or the funky routing was an emergency measure to route around the server. All theories, mind you. Regardless, they jumped on it pretty fast.
