| I was suspended for helping a friend.(1) | Category: GeneralMay-20-2013 3:22 PM PDT (10 years ago) ![]() | |
| Earlier today I was locked out of Diablo 3 and suspended. Soon later they unlocked my account with a warning, so I'm here to ask what exactly did I do wrong? Why is it against the rules to sell items for another player. Pretty much what I was doing was this. My friend would give me items to sell on the RMAH. After I posted the items and they sold. I would buy gold with the bnet balance and give him the gold. Why is this against the rules, he NEVER logged onto my account. I only sold items for him and gave him gold in return. After reading the RMAH rules I saw this. A. You agree: (i) to use the Auction Houses only for your own individual purposes; Well, my purpose was helping a friend out. So technically I didn't break any rules. I honestly do not see what I did wrong. There was no account sharing, and no bots. I only sold items on his behalf and gave him the gold in return. RMAH rules were clearly followed. Whats next not being allowed to give players free items? | ||

From what I can tell via our response on ticket ID# 37890846 one or several of the transactions failed an audit review, which can happen when there's any difficulty verifying the information in the account or for the PayPal that is linked to the account. Although this wasn't exactly a suspension for helping a friend, I'm still locking the thread due to the topic's title. If anyone has any inquiries about account actions, we ask that you bring it to our attention as any topic that deals with an account action or suspension will be locked or removed. Thank you! | ||
