| My FPS is getting down to 2 after playing for about 5 min or so and the lag will last for about 1-2 minutes. It will then play fine for a couple minutes and repeats this pattern until I log off. I have more than the minimum requirements for hardware, my networking is fine, I get the same lag despite what resolution quality I have set on the game. I have no viruses, I use a wired connection. I have tried everything! Please help! This started after about patch 1.04. I also have ran the repair tool, nothing changes this issue though. | ||

| Jaymon, You're describing what sounds like an overheating issue. Certain components like the cpu or gpu, when overheating, can slow themselves down to prevent damage, which in turn lowers the performance. They cycle back up when cooled and the process usually repeats like this. To see how hot these components are getting, download and run HWMonitor from: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.21-setup.exe Now start the game and let it run several minutes.
