| So was having some trouble logging into PTR and decided to delete and reinstall the client. When I start the PTR launcher it does not start the reinstall process but instead goes straight to my installed version of the live game | ||

| evok, I'm trying it now and it's working just fine for me. What's the name of the file you're running? ________________________________________________ I'm available Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time "A working class hero is something to be...." | evok , When I click my icon for that file, that I have saved on the desktop, it brings up the PTR launcher ready to hit Play. Can you check to see if you still have the Public Test game client installed anywhere? If you use regedit and search for this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\Games See if one of the entries has information for the Diablo III Public Test client. In my case it's located here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameUX\Games\{E8AE0286-9A63-4F4F-B479-0E4E4A2A8EB5} If you do, it's going to point to the path it thinks the PTR is installed. Verify the location is either empty or doesn't exist. It should not be pointing to the retail game client folder. The only reason it might is if you changed the default installation patch at one time to be the same as where you already had the retail game installed, which should not be done. ________________________________________________ I'm available Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time "A working class hero is something to be...."
