| Last night i was playing Diablo just fine and this afternoon I can not log in and get the infamous 3005 error. I live on a University but haven't had the issue before with our security client. Being Thursday, many people go home so the traffic on the internet shouldn't be an issue. I know this has been an issue before though out the past year for people, does it just go away because its on blizzard's end, or is it on my side? thanks | ||

| Jakubach, Is there any way you can see if any others on your school campus connection are having the same problem? | Jakubach, Your school admins may have implemented new security policies affecting Diablo III. It would really help if you could verify the campus connection works first or we could be troubleshooting a problem we'd have no hope of resolving. I see you were using a Comcast connection a few days ago. | Jakubach, Your university ( ___ State University System) is listed as the provider for your more recent connections. Are you on wireless there at school or using a wired connection? If you have a laptop, can you move to another location on campus and try it? Can you contact your school network admins and ask if they've recently started prohibiting connections from games like Diablo III? We require unrestricted communications on ports 80, 1119, and 6881 - 6999. You might see if their blocking any of those.
