| I have been fighting this issue for a little while now. First started happening frequently when I was playing my SNS wizard. Would freeze my game up often and I would have to force quit. Once i changed toons and focused on playing another it has been much less frequent, although still at least once a day, and at random times. For example, could be during runs or just while browsing auction house. Is playable now that I have changed toons, but annoying that I cannot play my wizard in that spec. Noticed it much more frequently a couple nights ago when running ubers with an sns wizard in group. Game would freeze for 5-10 seconds then snap back. My question is basically this: is it my hardware or not? I am not at my desktop to give exacts but from what I can recall, and yes I know it is not the most up to date system, but ran fine for a long time: i2 Q9550 quad core 2.83 GHZ nvidia 9800 gt 8 gig ram Thank you! | ||

| Shinmaster, I'll need the "exacts" before I could possibly make any suggestions. You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. I'd also like to see your D3Debug file (located in the main Diablo III game folder) but it needs to be right after you experience the problem. The file is overwritten periodically so if you have an issue and keep playing afterwards, any clues I need may not be there anymore. | ||
