| Hello Eric, My name is GM Brazhaa. As mentioned on previous contacts, continued tickets placed regarding this manner could result in account action up to account closure. A 24 hour ban has been placed on your account at this time. Understand continued tickets placed on this issue will not change the fact we are unable to restore your character and may result in account closure. Thank you. If you have any other questions about another topic please feel free to ask. Sincerely, Game Master Brazhaa Customer Service Blizzard Entertainment <https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/contact> (Bralphrie Customer Service Representative Greetings Thanks for contacting us! Posted by: purge i was playing on my hardcore witchdoctor when he died it brought me to the main screen and my witch doctor was still selected so i thought i was deleteing my witchdoctor who had just passed on but it removed my barbarian and beforei knew about the restore last button it was to late because i deleted the witchdoctor please there has to be some way of helping me out even. you cant say there is nothing to do about it something need to be done this is outragous I'm afraid the restoration you're requesting is not a service we provide. =/ Here's a bit more information from our Diablo III Restoration Policy: Deleted Heroes Customer Support cannot assist in restoring deleted heroes. Players have a limited ability to restore their own deleted heroes, but if a hero is not recoverable using the in-game recovery system, the deletion is permanent. See the Recovering Heroes in Diablo III article for instructions. I know it sucks to accidentally delete a character or lose one to death in Hardcore. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is, just keep in mind that if you delete a character you didn't intend to, we have an automated recovery system that you can use. If you're not familiar with how that system works, here are some step-by-step instructions: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/recovering-a-hero-in-diablo-iii Not all characters will be eligible for recovery, but it's a great first place to start. Unfortunately, if a character cannot be restored by our recovery system, our Customer Support staff will not be able to assist. Similarly, we do not offer restorations for Hardcore characters who have died. (Characters lost due to an account compromise are an exception, but it doesn't look like that's the case here.) As mentioned on previous contacts, continued tickets placed regarding this manner could result in account action up to account closure. A 24 hour ban has been placed on your account at this time. Understand continued tickets placed on this issue will not change the fact we are unable to restore your character and may result in account closure. Thank you. I know you must be frustrated that you've lost a character, and I'm truly sorry you've found yourself in a situation with which our Customer Support team has been unable to assist. I wish that wasn't the case. We love helping out our players whenever possible, but there are some services that we're simply not in a position to provide. This is one of them. Regarding the email you received, I'd sincerely encourage you to take a look at our GM Interaction Policy. To make things a little bit easier, I've highlighted the relevant bit below. Harassing the GM Staff Time spent dealing with issues that have already been closed keeps the GM staff from addressing other players' pressing issues. If a single player or multiple players repeatedly send abusive tells, abusive tickets, or multiple tickets on the same closed issue to the GM staff, or otherwise misuse our reporting system, they will be asked to stop, and if they continue, may receive an account penalty. We really hate issuing these types of warning or penalties, but they're not without purpose. For this particular scenario, it looks like we're not in a position to help get your character back. I'm going to speak on behalf of my peers in Customer Support and say that we understand you're upset about that -- and we're sorry for any frustration we may have personally caused -- but we'd really appreciate it if you would hold off on submitting further tickets on this same topic. Obviously, we can't stop you, but if you continue (as noted) you may receive additional account actions. If you've received a survey, definitely fill it out with your feedback. We'd love to know how we can improve the service we provide our awesome players -- you included! We take survey results very seriously and are constantly working to enhance our support policies and procedures to help make your experience that much more epic. :) | ||

so there u said it now also there is a way of doing it i dont get why thst be applyed to this situation u guys keep telling u can do it under different circumstances (Characters lost due to an account compromise are an exception, but it doesn't look like that's the case here) why cant it be treated the same in this situation i dont understand,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Because they are fundamentally different situations. In the case of an account compromise (where another person logs into your account without your permission), someone else is responsible for a character being deleted. In this case, you were responsible, so the circumstances aren't the same. We provide a lot of services for Diablo III players and characters, but there are some that we do not. Currently, we don't offer restorations for characters that have been deleted by their owners (either accidentally or on purpose) and cannot be recovered through our automated system. I know what it's like to delete a character I didn't mean to, so I can definitely understand your frustration, and I'm very sorry if your experience with either our Support staff or myself hasn't been what you wanted (I'd give you a hug if I could). I can definitely pass on the feedback on your behalf regarding this situation, though, and you're always welcome to complete our survey if you receive one. | ||

| Alright, folks. I'm going to go ahead and lock up this thread. Unfortunately, the conversation has veered into non-constructive waters and I'm not sure it can be brought back on course. =/ Purge, there are a lot of great players in this community that I bet would be willing to help you kick-start or even power level up a new character, if you're willing. Either way, I wish you the best of luck. Thanks for chatting with me today and giving me the opportunity to discuss our policies and procedures a bit more with you. | ||
