I logged into D3 today after a very long break and it asked me to create a new char when it started.
All my stats and progression has gone.
Anyone know if something happened while I've been away?

For anyone reading this with the same issue, checking your region should be your first troubleshooting step.

I see 3 level 60s, all last played today (US) or yesterday (EU). They're in the US region as is your Battle.net account and that's also where the gameplay has been occurring from which leads me to ask why you're posting in the Eu Tech Support forum?. You also have a newly created European Diablo III game account just created which is why you don't see anything.
On the main login screen, before logging in, select Options > Account > and then check the region selected under Server Region Selection. Set it to the Americas and then continue logging in and see if your missing characters are back.

In this account there's only a Starter Edition of Diablo III, created today. Is it possible that you are logging in with the wrong account? Most likely your characters are in another Battle.net account, the one where you used to play.

I found a Level 15 Monk on your US Account of Diablo 3. There has never been a Monk on your European Account.
What's your opinion?

If you contact our support team, they can have a look into this for you.
Also in the future, if you can create your own thread when you are having an issue like this, as this one was a rather old one.
