| I am a layman no doubt about that and I know little about how networks really operate. But almost all the trace routes people are posting contains telia.net and other telia related stuff. I don't think that necessarily means that is where the bottleneck is located but I do find it a little strange. I remember some time ago Telia had huge issues with WOW and I know that Telia has a large part of the infrastructure in europe. Even if you don't directly use them, you're still going through a lot of their servers. I don't know if this is what is causing the lags or if it's even linked but I would appreciate if someone a bit more tech-savvy than me could elaborate. |
