| Hey folks. I've got some people taking over my chat window and blizzard staff has been entirely unhelpful in the situation. They tell me I potentially have a keylogger but anti-virus finds nothing and they have no other answers. Apparently these people have no lives as I can log in at 3am in the morning and they're online, that or it's blizzard staff themselves doing it. They can see my entire inventory and everything that drops as I play, then go to great lengths to show me they can see what I'm doing via trade or general chat window. Today a blizzard rep used an acronym the chat hackers/predatory stalkers have been using then tried to play it off as a typo, I have all of this recorded and will be posting it to youtube shortly for all to see. Any tips on how to get my battlenet chat working correctly ? Or a higher up to speak to in regards to the unhelpful blizzard staff? | ||

| Erreverent1, Blizzard reps can't do any of what you're describing. It's just not an option for us as the ability is not built into our tools. If someone can actually see your drops, they have to be seeing your screen via remote access as a keylogger won't do that.. There is evidence of a possible compromise on the account but it could also be you if a proxy is being employed. You might consider using an authenticator as it would stop any unauthorized access from anyone knowing the account name and password. | ||

| Erreverent1, Have you been reporting them via the in-game harassment report feature? No one can "control" a chat channel as there are no moderation powers available in channels. People can type a lot which can make it hard to read, but that's not controlling it. I'm really not sure I understand your issue here. As I said, if someone can see what items drop for you, they can see your screen and that's only possible if you've allowed it via remote access. | ||
