| Hello Blizzard, I hope for your customers' sake and your sake, that you get on top of these errors ASAP. It is very difficult if not impossible to get to "end game" play without use of the Auction House. You built the functionality into the game and essentially forced people to use it (if they want to be "competitive"). PvP depends on it. Hellfire Ring depends on it (it would take an unreasonable amount of time to get one of these rings without gear from the AH). You provide the ability to convert from real dollars to gold and vice versa. You charged us money for the game. You charge a 15% surcharge for using the Auction House so you are being compensated for its use. I work for a financial institution and I can tell you that we put every reasonable effort into maintaining the stability of our IT infrastructure. All FIs do. We measure application and system availability and reliability with the goal of at least 4 "nines". 99.99% uptime. Do you have any idea how poorly you've performed from a service delivery perspective? Whether it's your IT infrastructure or bad code, jobs should have been lost. I am not saying this lightly either or as a figure of speech. I mean very literally, that this kind of performance would have resulted in job loss at ANY financial institution. Since you decided to create the Auction House and get into the business of (alternative) payments, you really need to step up your game as the public (and likely governing bodies) are much more critical when it comes to dollars. PS: Tempest Rush and Whirlwind are STILL causing network disconnect issues. It would be great if you guys would acknowledge issues. | ||
