| Everyone knows the randomness of items are currently "too random". Also ID'ing items has become tiresome and feels pointless. Why not increase the stat minimum for certain stats. I don't claim to understand the way stats roll now entirely. So say an item can roll from 1-200 Strength. Under the new system, make it 100-200. However reduce the drop rate of all RARE and BLUE items by 75%. Leave UNIQUES as is. This accomplishes having to ID far fewer items. It makes RARES / BLUES much more worthwhile to pickup. Of course the values of drop rate and stat minimums need to be adjusted appropriately to fairness and logic by our Blizzard overlords so we can all enjoy actually picking up items again. EDIT: Also other factors will need to be modified to allow this to work such as crafting material quantities from salvaging, ETC. | ||
