| Like everyone else, I am being constantly spammed with friend requests from gold sellers. I'm unable to report these people, the report tool does not work. Declining the request allows them to simply resend it. I have had to resort to blocking the spammers, but now my block list is full. I read in a locked post that running the repair tool and then deleting the cache would allow me to report the spammers, but I've done this and it doesn't work. I also read that most of the spamming accounts are ones which have been stolen. I get a huge amount of these spam requests, which seems to indicate account stealing on a massive scale. My questions are; Why can't I report the people who are constantly forcing their advertisements upon me? Have the spammers somehow 'hacked' my installation of Diablo 3? Why would I need to run a repair tool unless my client has been damaged somehow? If the spammers have managed to hack my client, does that mean that my account security has been compromised? Is my account likely to be one of those sending out the spam requests in the near future? A knowledgeable answer would be appreciated because I am quite worried about this. Thanks for reading. | ||
