| Hi, sorry if this topic comes up a lot but I've been googling to try and fix this error and none of the fixes I've found have helped me so far. I was playing fine earlier today, I've changed nothing, the only thing I've done since logging off earlier and wanting to play now was I watched some stuff whilst eating my dinner. I've tried changing the display mode in the D3Prefs file, I've tried changing the resolution here too,I've tried restarting my PC, I've tried changing the compatability mode, I've tried updating my drivers, I've tried deleting the D3Prefs file, I reset the preferences to default using the launcher, nothing, just a grey screen and click here to retry creating the D3D device. halp! | ||

| Sonnam, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| Sonnam , Thanks, Can you post your D3Debug.txt file now? It's located in the main Diablo III game folder. Edit out your account name first though. It's going to appear in a few places in the file. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
