| I keep getting this error and I can't play the game at all. It usually starts as Error 21, then I follow the instructions I found in other similar threads deleting C:\ProgramData\Battle.net and C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment folders. I relaunch the game and it switches to Error 14009. In both cases, the text is the same "Error with an authentication module". I've deleted the game, deleted all the files related to it (I didn't touch the registry though) and reinstalled the game. After a first successfull login, the issue returned. I know this can be circumvented by creating a new admin account and playing from it. I've tried it, and it works. Thing is, the computer is shared and I want to play in my own account for a series of reasons. Please I need assistance to find a solution to this. | ||

| Hello, If changing Windows username fixes the issue its very likely that your issue lies with your Windows account. Make sure your windows firewall and anti virus software is properly configured and that no third party software running in the background is interfering with the game. | ||
