| I have a question. I'm a programmer...I was wanting to make a program to track information from Diablo 3. There would be no altering/messing around with graphics or information in memory.. It would just read FROM memory only and track data that way. Would this be okay or violate the EULA? | ||

| Falnoreem, I'm not a lawyer but I'd think this section of the Terms of Use agreement would cover that: "No Data Mining. You agree that you will not (a) obtain or attempt to obtain any information from the Service or any Game using any method not expressly permitted by Blizzard; (b) intercept, examine or otherwise observe any proprietary communications protocol used by a Game client or the Service, whether through the use of a network analyzer, packet sniffer or other device; (c) use any third-party software to collect information from or through a Game client or the Service, including without limitation information about your character, any Account registered to you, virtual items, other players, or other Game data." | ||
