| As the title states, I am receiving Error 73 when trying to log in to my account. I am trying to log in to the US server and I live in the US. The server status page shows the server being up but I cannot connect for whatever reason. I have: Restarted my computer Flushed my DNS Changed my DNS IPCONFIG /release /renew nothing seems to fix the problem. Any word on why this is happening? | ||

| GOTthatAK47, You have a European Battle.net account for some reason and Europe is down right now. When it's back up, you should be able to authenticate again. | ||

| GOTthatAK47, The Battle.net account was created in the European region. I'm not referring to the game account. It looks like the account had it's country contact info switched from Great Britain to the USA back in June of last year, but that doesn't change the region for the account, just the contact info. | GOTthatAK47, The only explanation I can come up with is originally when the account was created back in February 2012, it was done using the EU website, even though you were in the US. People intentionally make EU accounts all the time that way and it's fine to do so. In June 2012, the country was changed from GBR to USA by whoever was using the account, I assume it was you. That would allow the US RMAH to be used with the account as you mentioned, otherwise it would still be tied to the EU one. In any case, the problems you're having right now logging in are I believe due to the European region being completely down for maintenance right now. | ||

| Dianostique, I'm afraid not. There is no way to transfer Battle.net accounts between regions. They may offer that in the future but nothing has been announced to date. | ||
