| I have been troubled since releash with this infernal problem: ''Failed to launch a critical file blah blah...''. A succession of windows reinstallations and game client redownloadings (for reasons unknown, installation disc is useless) seemed to present a random solution every now and then. I came across an obscure advice a couple of months ago about installing the latest .net framework. Guess what...it totally worked! Recently i was forced to reinstall windows and, once more, game refuses to start. I tried to install 4.0 .net framework (4.5 is incompatible with win xp) and repair said version but it seems ineffective. I followed troubleshooting and i suspect that it has something to do with administrative rights, regardless of my account being administrator!!! I'd like to know if any of other fellow players has found a complete and utter solution for this ancient (been 15 months!!!) plague... | ||
