| Landfill, Disabling Norton doesn't always work as it can still be "protecting" you in the background. Sometimes it's necessary to actually uninstall the program. Norton even has a special removal tool as it's fairly common for this sort of thing to occur. I recommend this ONLY if you know you can reinstall it again later.
