Ðamage,

The error report isn't conclusive but it does point to a "sound" issue.

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.

Ðamage,

In your prefs file, this line really stands out to me;

SoundDriver "-129487093"

I've no idea what's going on there.

I'd suggest changing it to

SoundDriver "0"

Change the number of channels to use in-game to 32 or even 16 too.

I'd also like to know if you're using the Logitech Headset to play the game. I've seen Fmod errors before with that headset so if you are, try unplugging them altogether and seeing if the crashes continue. At the very least, I'd see if there are new drivers available from Logitech for it. What you have now seems pretty old.

Driver Name: USBAUDIO.sys
Driver Version: 6.01.7601.17514 (English)
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
WHQL Logo'd: Yes
Date and Size: 11/20/2010 22:23:47, 109696 bytes
Other Files:
Driver Provider: Logitech, Inc.

Ðamage,

Using an editor like Notepad, edit the D3Prefs.txt file.

Change these lines:

ChannelsToUse "128"
SoundDriver "-129487093"

to

ChannelsToUse "16"
SoundDriver "0"

Just unplug the Logitech Headset and reboot the computer to see if the game still crashes without them present. If it seems to work properly without them, check for a driver update on Logitech's site and try using them again after updating.
