Good day,
Since the update last week I have been unable to launch the game. I have deleted the files recommended in the other posts on this topic and now, on first launch, I get the pop up that the agent is updating, this hangs at about 45%, I close the window, go into the task manager, manually shut down the agent process, wait a minute, then relaunch and it hangs on updating launcher at about 75%. I close the window, go into the task manager, manually shut down the agent process, wait a minute, then relaunch and now hung at updating tools 0%. I did leave this run overnight two days ago and it got to 79% before it hung. Any suggestions?

If you use an antivirus or software firewall program, try temporarily disabling them before launching the game. They can interfere with program installation or updates.

Try updating your version of Adobe Flash. I had another user, with Windows 8, that after exhausting everything else we could think of, updating his Flash app fixed it. He was able to play fine on Windows 7 in this case and not on Windows 8 after dual-booting into it.

Try creating a new Windows User account and adding it to the Administrator's Group. Then log off of Windows and back on with the new account and then try the game.
