| Ever since I started playing Diablo a few days ago, my computer started shutting down every few hours or so and gave me this error once I logged back on. Any idea? | Sauerkraut12, It's a Windows error and a pretty common one at that. I suggest using Google and searching on "BCCode: 116" to see a multitude of articles discussing it. Be very careful NOT to download any "fixes" that are offered as they're usually malware. Most solutions seem to be video driver-related so I'd take that approach first in making sure your drivers are up to date. Machines shutting down could also be a symptom of something inside overheating, like the video card or processor. To check that, download and run HWMonitor from: http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/hwmonitor/1.21-setup.exe Now start the game and let it run several minutes. Then exit or alt-tab out and see what the highest temperature is that was reached for both the cpu and gpu (video card). | ||

| Sauerkraut12, It looks like your video card is reaching 89C which is a little hot, maybe too hot and it might be causing the issue you're having. I'd unplug the computer, open it up, and using a can of compressed air, clean out the video card's fan and heatsink assembly. That's often all it takes to restore proper cooling to it. | ||
