| phospho, Can you describe what happens when it "crashes"? For example. Is there an error message? Does your computer shut down? Does the screen go blank requiring you to restart? Do you get sent back to the desktop from the game? Also list any steps you've tried so far in resolving the problem. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| phospho, If your computer is shutting down, I'd look into it being a hardware issue as the game itself has no way to turn off a computer. It could be stressing marginal components to the point they fail and shutdown but that's still a hardware problem, not the game. Overheating and too much power being drawn are the typical reasons a computer would suddenly shut down. What temperatures are your gpu and cpu reaching while playing? _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| phospho, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| phospho, Nothing really stands out to me that would cause a computer to shut down. However, I do see that you're using an Asus P5Q series motherboard. We used to see a lot of issues with that series with World of Warcraft a few years ago. The motherboards exhibited memory-related symptoms that were eventually solved by doing a BIOS update on the boards involved. I don't recall the P5QL being involved but it still warrants checking into whether you have the latest BIOS Asus offers for your board. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||

| phospho, Could you post your D3Debug.txt file right after it freezes the next time? If the computer is actually freezing, the file will just end suddenly as it wouldn't be logging any more. I'd like to see what behavior is indicated though at the end of the file. The file is located in the main Diablo III game folder. Edit out your account name first though. It's going to appear in a few places in the file. _________________________________________________________ I'm available in the forums Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 8 pm Pacific Time Please provide feedback! - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Omrakos | ||
