| I have been using the mobile authenticator on my iphone for several months... but my phone is about to be turned off (I wont bore you with details). If I turn the authenticator off, then when my IP address changes (hello, college student) I will again be plagued with weekly account freezes... but if I DONT turn it off, then once my phone goes kaput, I lose my ability to log into D3 are there any other options? does Blizzard make a laptop/PC authenticator? | ||

| PoliScikosis, No, we don't, and we also do not suggest using apps that simulate an environment where a mobile authenticator could be used as they're much more open to being compromised. I suggest getting one of the standalone authenticators if you don't want to use or can't use a mobile device anymore. They're sold at cost for $6.50 and come with free shipping if you're in the US. Having an authenticator will not prevent an account from being temporarily locked if a change in login pattern is detected. When your IP changes, that's undoubtedly going to happen until the system learns your new pattern. | ||
