| My roommate got an account this weekend. There is a 72 hour period where you can't trade or use the AH. He received an e-mail confirmation saying everything is available now, but it is still disabled. Can anyone tell me if there's a work around? Or should I tell him to submit a ticket? Or should we just wait it out? | ||

This is a security measure during which the payment for the game is being checked and verified. Once the payment has been fully processed the restrictions will be lifted. Should the restrictions still be in place after 72 hours have passed, please contact Customer Service for assistance. | ||

But if the problem persists after 72 hours it's usually solved by just chaning password. Happened to my F/G not two weeks ago. This is true as after 72 hours this might be related to the account changes not being saved properly and password reset will refresh the account. However prior to the 72 hours password reset is unlikely to help. TBH it sucks that you charge day one but deliver the product day 3. Until the security check is completed the money is not fully debited from the customer as the validity of the payment is being checked. Also during the 72 hours you can continue playing the single player content past the Skeleton King which is not possible prior to the purchase. I understand this might seem inconvenient but these are the security measures we have implemented for both the security of our service and our players. I'd also like to remind you that if you purchase the boxed version of the game in a local shop you will not have to go through the 72 hours processing period, as upon adding the license to the account it is already fully paid for. | ||
