| I started playing D3 again for the first time in a long while, but couldn't login to the game. I tried battle.net's "account recovery" page and it totally didn't recognize me. So, I then tried creating an account with the same email address that I've always used and it worked, which means my account was deactivated. So then I just created a new account, using the same email address that I've always used, and started playing. It wasn't until later that I realized that I was apparently using a "free trial" sort of thing. So I entered in my game's cd key to authenticate it, and the website said that it's already in use. Which is odd, since I'm obviously not using it. So I'm pretty sure my account was hacked, which is why I'm also now requesting a restoration to my characters. This entire experience has been a nightmare.... no pun originally intended. | ||

| Hello, As said above, this is something our support / account recovery features should be able to help you get your account back. There are always records, so if we can locate the account, we should be able to sort this out for you. | ||
