sanete,

Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Click on Start
Click on Run
Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field)
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here.

Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder.

I'll also need to know what type internet connection you use. For example, is it wireless?

sanete,

I see you're already running at the lowest settings in-game. This pc (laptop) is really an entry-level model and isn't really suited for gaming. That being said, it does incorporate an Nvidia graphics display device (NVIDIA GeForce GT 520M) which should help performance slightly, if it's being used. If you haven't already, right click the desktop icon you use to start the game and set it to use the Nvidia when running.

Your actual problem sounds more like a connection issues though which is why I asked what you're using. Wireless connections are always suspect due to their nature of being easily interfered with so I'd ask if you could temporarily run a wired connection to see if the problem is resolved. That will require an ethernet cable run from your laptop's NIC directly to the modem which means disconnecting the router. If others share your connection, they should be warned as they'll lose internet access while doing this.
