| Hello there... in the begining i'd like to apologize for any grammatical errors, I'm not a native speaker.. the point is that some specific merchant's in towns (vendors) are sepoased to sell jewlery (rings & amulets) they are comonly refered as "fence" eg. act 1 Radek the Fence or act2 Silmak the Fence etc. however there is a strange thing hapening to them, because they are missing the jewlery tab on inferno monster power 1 and above. they do have the tab on normal nightmare hell and inferno but on inferno MP0 only. Whenever raising monster power difficulty above "none" the jewlery tab is gone. this bug is probably a leftover from a time when all vendors lost their armor tabs when raising monster power difficulty.. and since jewlery tab is present only on some of the vendors and probably nobody is buying jewlery form a vendor on inferno, because they'd probably sell only magic ones (no rares etc.) and the fact that best jewlery is on the ah/rmah anyway... that's probably how it missed out it's bugfix. however if this tab could make it's way back on inferno MP above zero it'd still be quite usless with the exception where it could have a chance of rolling a rare type of item (rare amulets and rare rings) obviously this should be a small chance but id should be enaugh to bring back the attention of players to ocasionally check those merchants as oposed to grabbing the merchant nearest of townportal, disposing of all *unluckly* rolled loot and portaling back to fight zone. visiting town merchant's pre inferno for a luckly roled ring or amulet was one of the main things to do when visiting town, however i'm afraid that on inferno it'll no longer be the case since nobody is looking for anything worse than trifecta theese days... TL:DR 1.leftover bug "fence" merchants loose their jewlery tab on inferno MP higher than zero 2.nobody submitted this before, as fixing the bug iself won't change absolutly nothing in terms of gaming 3. there is potential in fixing the bug and tinkering with some vendor's parameters so that there could be a chance for getting something worthwhile during periodically checking vendor's jewlery stock and by worthwhile i mean "inferno difficulty class gear" worthwhile. | ||
