| Hey guys. Here is something that has been bothering me for a while now and maybe someone can answer. I have a limited 10Gb useage a month (following which I do not incurr any additional charges, but my connection slows down). When playing the game it is evident that it is chewing through my allocation at a rapid rate of knotts. Considering the 15gb of drive space already occupied by the game files, how come when connected it is doing this? I played WoW for 7 years without this kind of issue, so I'm surprised that this is the case with D3. I'm not particularly clued up concerning software matters, so any advice here would be greatly appreciated in advance. Cheers folks. | ||

| Hello, The game's bandwidth usage should be relatively low, outside of installing and patching, unless the game is becoming corrupt and is replacing corrupt files. Can I just ask how you're monitoring the bandwidth usage and what values you're seeing? | ||

| Sorry I wasn't able to reply earlier, but there isn't much we can advise at this point. If the client is up to date, then the data it uses should be at a minimum. If you're playing online with friends, then the data usage will be higher, but it shouldn't be using anywhere near that much data (depending on how much you're playing, of course). One thing to check would just be to run a repair of the game client, you can do this on the Launcher under the help menu. This'll just check if the game client is damaged, and hopefully stop it from having to redownload data (which is what I suspect is causing this issue). | ||
