| I have this odd Lag that occurs with just my cursor, the game does not lag at all just the recognition of the mouse. When i hover over an item or monster it takes about half a second to recognize and highlight the item... Its rather frustrating, multiple mouses, tried the vsync and all the settings i could changed the dpi and still nothing else. Any ideas? | ||

| Mindlessn00b, Can you post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (In Vista, type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste it ALL here. Could you also post your D3Prefs.txt file? It's located in the My Documents\Diablo III folder. What type internet connection do you have? Is it wireless? | ||

| Mindlessn00b, Try disabling your "AsusVTouch" touchpad and uninstalling any software it may have installed. Of course, if you use it to play the game, don't, but I'd like to see if it's interfering with mouse actions. Also, I'd change the laptop's Windows power profile to High Performance instead of Balanced. Power saving modes will significantly affect your gaming performance. Lowering shadow quality can improve performance too, as well as disabling the in-game fps limiters and leaving vsync enabled. | ||

| Mindlessn00b, Try booting in selective startup once and playing like that for a little while and see if it still does it. http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/backgroundapps | ||

| Mindlessn00b, I'd like you to run this AMD Mobility Radeon Driver Verification tool from AMD and see if it lets you update to the latest drivers which are quite a bit newer than what you have now. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx | ||

| Mindlessn00b, Can you try disabling this device as well? ELAN PS/2 Port Smart-Pad Make sure no external devices are connected to the laptop other than a mouse, network connection, and monitor if you use an external one. | ||
